Electronic Practice Policy

This policy outlines how we use technology to deliver care safely and securely.
1. Communication
Email and text are used for administrative purposes (scheduling / billing) only. They are not secure for clinical discussions or crises.
2. Video Platform
All virtual sessions are conducted via Practice Better, which uses end-to-end encryption. Please ensure you are in a private, quiet space with a secure Wi-Fi connection.
3. Technical Failures
If we lose connection, I will wait 2 minutes for you to reconnect. If unsuccessful, I will call the phone number on your file to continue via telephone.
4. Social Media
To protect your privacy and our professional boundaries, I do not accept 'friend' or 'follow' requests from current or former clients on personal or professional social media accounts.
5. Recordings
Recording of sessions (audio or video) is strictly prohibited by both therapist and client without prior written mutual consent.
